Any full member of Triathlon PEI is automatically a member of our national federation, Triathlon Canada.  Each year we are required to remit a portion of your membership fee to Triathlon Canada. Triathlon Canada’s Board of Directors has increased the fee that we are required to remit in 2019 to $15/person for adult memberships (from $5) and $6/person for youth memberships (from $3). In 2018 a Triathlon PEI adult membership was $40 with $5.00 going to Triathlon Canada. In 2019 our one day membership is $15.00 for all age groups with the exception of the KOS, which is $5.00

By contributing to Triathlon Canada you are contributing to maintaining and developing high performance athletes, coaches and officials. Triathlon Canada maintains coaches and officials standards; if you are a provincial official looking to make the step to ITU, you need to be a member and coaches need to be members to access the training modules.  As an Age-Group athlete member of Triathlon Canada you are eligible to compete for Canada at Worlds (for example at the ITU Grand Final in Edmonton 2020) and also eligible for other promotions as they are available, which can be found on the Triathlon Canada website.
